HOW TO REACH US

Where we are

We are based in Santa Croce district, in the heart of  downtown Florence. A few paces away you will find Santa Croce Church or Casa Buonarroti, which are onsight right from our door! You can easily reach the most famous landmarks like the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia, the Cathedral or the Old Bridge within 5/10 minutes walking distance. The most panoramic sites like Forte Belvedere, Piazzale Michelangelo, San Miniato al Monte Church and the Boboli Gardens are only 15/20 minutes away on foot.

If you arrive by train

From Santa Maria Novella train station – www.trenitalia.com

by taxi, max 10 minutes (best way to get here)
by bus, number C2, via Ghibellina
on foot, it takes around 25 minutes

If you arrive by plane

From Amerigo Vespucci airport – www.aeroporto.firenze.it

by taxi (best way to get here) around 25 minutes, there is a fixed price of € 20 to 25 plus baggage, depending if its a weekday, a holiday or a night ride;
by shuttle bus “Vola in bus”, a 30 minutes ride takes you from the airport to the Train Station Santa Maria Novella and from there you can: take bus C2 (stop inVia Ghibellina) or take a 20min walk.

If you arrive by car

From Rome:

-take exit “Firenze Sud” and proceed to city centre (Firenze – centro)

–a very cheap option (8€/day) is to parking in “Villa Costanza”. Take the A1 exit between Scandicci and Florence North called “Villa Costanza”. From there you can take the light rail trainT1 (entrance is inside the parking lot) and get off at “Unità” stop (tram terminus), from there you will reach us within a 20min walk or you can take a taxi (stop is at the “Unità” Square) – For more info: http://www.parcheggiovillacostanza.it/

From Milan:

-take exit “Firenze Nord” and proceed to city centre (Firenze – centro).

Tram tickets cost 1,5€/each, you can buy tickets directly in the vending machines located on the tramways tracks. Please be sure to buy your ticket before boarding and stamp it when you board.

ATTENTION

The B&B is located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) where access by car is strictly prohibited.

It is permissible to drive to a parking garage within the limited zone so, don’t worry if you see a no thoroughfare or some video cameras, the garage will give you safe passage.

To reach the b&b
Out of the garage there is a street in front of you – via del Fico, – walk straight, at the end of the street turn right, now you are in via delle Pinzochere, stop at 6.
If you have many bags, stop first at the B&B to drop them off and then go straight to the Garage.
